Refund and Cancellation Policy

At VirtuaGigs we want you to feel confident using our platform. We provide paid subscriptions that give users access to tasks that can be completed in return for payment. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, the cancellation process, and important exceptions.
If you are not satisfied with your initial subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment, provided your account is in good standing and there is no evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service. Refunds are issued to the original payment method in ZAR (South African Rand) unless otherwise required by the payment provider.
We generally issue only full refunds (within the 14-day window) for the initial subscription payment. Partial or prorated refunds may be considered in exceptional cases at our discretion — contact support with full details and we will review your case.
Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method in ZAR. Processing time depends on the payment provider; banks can take additional time. We recommend keeping the original payment method open until the refund completes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund unless you are within the 14-day refund window and otherwise eligible. After cancellation, you will retain access through the current billing period.
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider before contacting us, we may place a temporary hold on your account while we investigate. Chargebacks for eligible refunds may delay or complicate the refund process. Please contact support first — we will resolve eligible refund requests promptly and this prevents unnecessary holds or account flags.
All charges and refunds are processed in ZAR (South African Rand). If you paid using a different currency, your bank or payment provider may apply conversion rates or fees — those are outside our control.
We retain records of refunds and cancellations in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable laws. Personal information required to process refunds is handled securely and only used to complete the refund and related communications.
